Parkey vs. Prked for UF Gameday Parking

Both of us list private driveways near the Swamp. We run Parkey, so everything about Prked below is read from Prked's own pages, linked, and dated October 1, 2026. Where Prked does not publish something, we say so.

The host fee is not on Prked's pages

A host who lists a driveway on Parkey at $40 is paid $40 on a standard payout, or $39.60 if they choose an instant payout, which carries a 1% processing fee. The fan sees the full total before paying.

Prked's host page promises "No fees to list" and says hosts set their own prices. Its parking host page says "Prked charges no hidden fees for hosts." Neither page gives a percentage taken from each booking. A homeowner comparing the two should ask Prked for the number in writing before gameday.

A refund rule you can read before you pay

Parkey's checkout states it in one line: cancel at least 24 hours before your reservation starts and you get the full charge back. Prked's homepage sends you to your account dashboard and says options depend on the host's cancellation policy. Its parking page says terms vary by timing and by host. Read the policy on the listing you pick before you book.

Run from Gainesville

Parkey hosts are Gainesville neighbors, and the people running it are in town on gameday. The road-closure and shuttle facts across this site are re-checked against UF's own pages and dated, and the stadium parking guide puts every arrival deadline on the clock for each home game.

FAQ

What is the difference between Parkey and Prked?
Both let you reserve a private driveway near Ben Hill Griffin Stadium before you drive in. Parkey is built in Gainesville by UF students, covers Gators home games, and books one game at a time on the web or the iPhone app. Prked is a national marketplace for parking, storage, RV and boat space, with a page for each Gators home game.
Does Parkey take a cut from hosts?
No. Parkey adds its service fee on top for the fan, who sees the full total before paying. The host is paid the price they set; the one deduction is the 1% processing fee on an instant payout, which the host chooses.
Does Prked take a cut from hosts?
Prked does not publish a host commission rate on the pages we checked. Its host page says "No fees to list," and its parking host page says "Prked charges no hidden fees for hosts" (checked October 1, 2026). Neither gives a percentage taken from each booking. If you are deciding where to list, ask Prked for the percentage in writing.
Can I get a refund if my plans change?
On Parkey, checkout shows the rule before you pay: cancel at least 24 hours before your reservation starts and you get the full charge back. Prked's homepage says you can cancel through your account dashboard and that "options vary based on the host's cancellation policy." Its parking page says terms "vary based on timing and individual host policies." We found no single cancellation window on its pages (checked October 1, 2026).
What does a Gators game cost to park on Prked?
